Superstorm Sandy left some New Yorkers without trains or power, but she devastated other parts of our city like the Rockaways. The boardwalk is gone. Sand and debris are everywhere. The residents are cold and hungry. It’s like the 19th Century on the outskirts of Queens.
Rooftop Supperclub is re-purposing our fall food event to benefit those in need. All proceeds will be donated to the nonprofit Rockaway Beach Surf Club that has become a community gathering, donation and distribution point.
Spencer Walker, author of Cook To Bang, and Will Holloway of Rooftop Brooklyn will romance your taste buds with another multi-course feast. Expect a spirited evening with live music and like-minded people making a difference while they eat, drink, and frolic in a cozy indoor location in Greenpoint. Did we mention it's a TAX WRITEOFF?
